The short version: book honestly, show up with your licence, cancel with 24 hours' notice, and we will take care of the rest. The full terms follow.
Ummah Drivers ("we", "us") is a driver training school operating in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and part of Ummah Corporation. By creating an account or booking a lesson you agree to these terms.
Lessons and packages are priced in Canadian dollars (CAD), GST included. Payment is due at the time of booking, either by card or by redeeming prepaid package credits held in your account.
Package credits are prepaid lesson minutes. They never expire, are not transferable between accounts, and may be spent on any lesson type we offer.
You may cancel a lesson at no charge up to 24 hours before its scheduled start time. Card payments are refunded in full; lessons paid with package credits have the credits returned to your balance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are non-refundable, because that time has been reserved for you.
If your instructor must cancel, you receive a full refund of that lesson or free rebooking at your choice.
You must hold a valid Alberta learner's licence (Class 7) or driver's licence (Class 5-GDL or Class 5) appropriate to the lesson booked, and present it to your instructor before every lesson. Lessons cannot proceed without it and are treated as late cancellations.
You agree to follow your instructor's directions during lessons and to arrive fit to drive — free of alcohol, cannabis, and impairing medication.
Our vehicles carry the insurance required for driver training in Alberta, and lessons are supervised by a licensed instructor with dual brake controls. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with a lesson is limited to the amount you paid for that lesson. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act (Alberta) or other applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, sitting in Edmonton.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions? Email hello@ummahdrivers.ca.
